October 6th - 9th 2017
It's happening again in 2016!. We will relive the ConFest experience right here in S.A.
Tickets will be sold at the gate and will cost ?? per person or ??? for those with a Health Care Card. Children 16 years and under have free entry.
Please contact Debbie & David Pillar at Pilwarren on 0427 701 132 to book a cabin for an additional fee.
Please keep these Oct 14 to 17 free for another great weekend with like-minded ConFest lovers. This event is open to anyone who has been to ConFest or has ever wanted to go. All ages are welcome.
Please note that the communal kitchen is a vegetarian space but that there are separate cooking facilities for meat-eaters.
Also, please note that the event is clothing optional for those who wish to experience the natural freedom of their bodies in a safe and supportive space. However, many people may choose to remain clothed as the focus of the weekend is not on nudity but on connecting, sharing, new experiences and personal growth.
The venue is a private, clothing-optional property close to Adelaide on the Murray River, between Swan Reach and Walker’s Flat. Pilwarren is set in beautiful bushland and has room for hundreds of people, accommodated in hired cabins or in our own vans and tents. There is an excellent kitchen where we will team up to cook delicious meals for everyone, and ablution blocks with hot showers and flushing toilets (yes, it's ConFest with a modern touch!)
Last year, we had the hot tub fired up and a huge mud-pit in which to wallow. There were back-to-back workshops on topics as varied as maintaining Vitamin D levels, yoga, fermenting and massage. There were people strumming guitars and others playing boules. The atmosphere was open and friendly.
Workshops and activities organised so far for the 2017 reunion are: Laughter Yoga; Introduction to Massage: Body Painting; Yoga; Introduction to Crocheting; Fire twirling; Saturday Night Dance with our very own Community Radio D.J; A Wombat Night Walk; and Decorating the Steam Room Walls. Other workdshops will depend on who wants to run them.
Again this year, we will all bring food to share, either prepared in advance or as separate ingredients to go into our communal meals.
As well, everyone has the opportunity, in fact is encouraged, to get into the true spirit of ConFest and bring their own special offering to share with the rest of us, such as a workshop, firewood, musical instruments, pizzas ingredients for the pizza oven, massage oil, a fire twirling show or other entertainment, decorations--use your imagination,
Everyone at the Reunion is responsible for helping making others feel safe, welcome and connected.
THE ABUSE OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL IS NOT WELCOME.
Sorry, NO pets.
