January 19th - 22nd 2018
The third SA Confest is happening again in 2018 from Friday January 19th to Monday January 22nd!
Please keep these dates free for another great weekend with like-minded ConFest lovers and wannabes. Once again, we will relive the ConFest experience right here in S.A. This event is open to anyone who has been to ConFest or has ever wanted to go. All ages are welcome.
Note that the communal kitchen is a vegetarian space but that there are separate cooking facilities for meat-eaters.
Also, please note that the event is clothing optional for those who wish to experience the natural freedom of their bodies in a safe and supportive space. However, many people may choose to remain clothed as the focus of the weekend is not on nudity but on connecting, sharing, new experiences and personal growth.
The venue is a private, clothing-optional property close to Adelaide on the Murray River, between Swan Reach and Walker Flat. Pilwarren is set in beautiful bushland and has room for hundreds of people, accommodated in hired cabins or in their own vans and tents. There is an excellent kitchen where we will team up to cook delicious meals for everyone, and ablution blocks with hot showers and flushing toilets (yes, it's ConFest with a modern touch!)
Gate Tickets will be sold at the gate and will cost $50 per person full fee or $30 for those with a Health Care Card. Children 16 years and under have free entry.
Gate Tickets Full Price $50 per person - Concession $30 per person
Site $12 per person per night, power for sites is $6 per site per night

No payment via bank transfer means no booking.
There are only 6 suites so you will need to be quick if you want one.
Bookings will not be accepted for suites or cabins until money transfer has been received. First in with the bank transfer gets the booking. Payments for booking are non-refundable.
Last year, we had the hot tub and steam room fired up. There were back-to-back workshops on topics as varied as Laughter Yoga; Introduction to Massage: Comedy Massage; Death meditation; Body Painting; Ukulele for beginners; Effigy burning; Yoga; Introduction to Crocheting; Natural Bush Oils; Vision Board; Transactional Analysis; Lateral thinking; Finding your voice; Saturday Night Dance with our very own Community Radio D.J; How not to step on rabbits; a Wombat Night Walk; and Decorating the Steam Room Walls. There were people strumming guitars, playing mini-golf, fire twirling and collecting rocks. The atmosphere was open and friendly. We expect most of these workshops will be happening again this year and new ones are always welcome.
Everyone has the opportunity, in fact is encouraged, to get into the true spirit of ConFest by bringing their own special offering to share with the rest of us, such as running a workshop, firewood, musical instruments, pizzas for the pizza oven, massage oil, a fire twirling show or other entertainment, decorations--use your imagination,
We will all bring food to share again this year, either prepared in advance or as separate ingredients to go into our communal meals.
This year we have improved the steam-room and have a much better hot tub, a water playground and expect to have a music tent completed.
Everyone at SA Confest is responsible for helping making others feel safe, welcome and connected.
THE ABUSE OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL IS NOT WELCOME. CAMERAS AND MOBILE PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE USED AT PILWARREN.
(It is a short walk to the road where mobiles can be used.)
Sorry, NO pets.
